On this week’s episode of Style Masterclass, we talk about two strategies to employ when you hate your outfit. It happens to all of us. You put on an outfit in the morning, catch a glimpse of yourself and the nitpicking begins! You have been wearing an outfit all day, catch a glimpse of yourself, and are dismayed. “What the hell was I thinking when I put this on in the morning?” Or “Do I really look like this?”
TWO STEPS WHEN YOU HATE YOUR OUTFIT
One, Step Away for the Mirror and Regroup. Don’t continue to stand in front of the mirror nit picking yourself and saying unkind things. Repeating how much you hate your outfit to yourself isn’t going to magically transport you into a outfit you love.
Two, Ask yourself a better question. Instead of asking yourself “Why am I so fat” or “Why am I not stylish?” etc…
Get to a place where you can evaluate rather than nit pick your outfit. Use one of my go to questions, “How can I make this so much better?”
